The range of chemical loading arms and their specific application allows Loadtec to handle virtually every liquid for filling and emptying road and rail tankers.

This can take the form of top filling via on open manhole or with the displaced vapours being collected and returned to the operator for disposal. Top filling closed-circuit loading can also incorporate flanged or dry-disconnect connections on the tanker top for dangerous liquids.

Bottom filling and emptying of tankers is increasing and Loadtec have a wide experience and portfolio of equipment to carry this out without operator effort or exposure to the liquid.

Environmental concerns and Health & Safety legislation have combined to make the tanker filling process a far more restrictive action in recent years.  Close attention by Loadtec on these aspects allows us to design safe and clean systems that meet all the necessary constraints.

Chemicals are covered on this website as any liquid (with the exception of LPG) which ARE NOT combusted for the purpose of propulsion or heat. That leaves everything from water to sewage, perfume to cyanide, asphalt to whisky and combinations thereof.
