Rob Williams, Loadtec's Service Director/Manager, heads up the service team dealing with the chemical, oil and gas industry sectors for marine, road and rail loading arms and access systems.
Rob has 20 years’ experience in assembling, installing, commissioning and selling equipment into the marine, oil, gas and chemical industries.
Rob's long tenure in the industry has seen him work as Assembly Fitter, Service Engineer, Sales Engineer, Aftermarket Product Manager and now Service Director gaining valuable experience in ALL areas of the servicing industry.
His previous two roles as a Marine Loading Arm Service Engineer involved project managing, installation and commissioning of marine loading arms at various oil, gas and chemical plants.
This work was worldwide; for varying timescales and required Rob to build relationships, manage and provide training to teams of staff from different nationalities and cultures, building trust, respect and excellent teamwork to ensure the project was successfully completed.
During his time as a Service Engineer with Emco Wheaton and Woodfield Systems, he carried out service and maintenance on various brands of marine and road loading arms which included mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Rob also has experience on all types of emergency release systems on both marine, road and rail loading arms.
